SANDARA PARK: A 21st Century Heroine

When we were young, we believed in super heroes and mythical creatures who possess amazing abilities and otherworldly powers. Then we grew up. The magic slowly faded. Our make-believe world no longer existed. But as we matured, we also learned that heroes are real (albeit less magical but just as powerful) even in this day and age where people are more practical, more cynical and less faithful.

I, myself, have known a 21st century heroine whose abilities match that of a Phoenix--she rose from her own ashes and grew into an even more beautiful, stronger creature. She is none other than the precious, life-changing idol, Sandara Park.

I found this post on tumblr summarizing how she dealt with her downfall and pain; how she managed to come out even better and much tougher. She's a woman of steel, a lady of great principles and virtue and most of all, a girl who harbors such enormous love for the people around her. A heroine through and through, that's who she is.

OMG OMG OMG Guys! Falling in Love MV is finally out and holy guacamole Dara was absolutely stunning! I kid you not! After their so long hiatus, we can now see them back in Music Programs and other shows. Oh my Dara. T_T How I've missed you. Now I can spazz everyday with something new and exciting to look forward for!

Hahahahaa! Kidding! I died a little with those GIFs. I was actually pissed off with YG because the teaser photos honestly looked cheap. Can't they even make it more classy or something? It didn't even reach the supposed "YG Quality" for me. I even thought I wouldn't like their song but all my apprehensions vanished the moment I saw the MV. I was like a lunatic fan girling over Dara's perfection. Come on people, we all melted at her "touch me over here, touch me over there" part right? She totally emitted that Goddess aura effortlessly. She was heavenly! And her dancing, OH MY GOSH. The choreo suited her skills well. She was so sexy and flirtatious! She was really good at dancing, bias aside. I mean, look at those body waves and twists. Damn, if I do that, I'd look like a constipated penguin but our Sandara killed it and she looked perfectly awesome while doing it. Who says she can't dance? Haters, go back to your caves and meditate. Hahaha. Lol. Her part was the most reaggae-ish actually. The song was a mix of hip-hop and reggae and I think that her lines embodied the reggae feel of the song plus her voice sounded great in this kind of genre.

[REPOST] Elegant Dara for ELLE

The girls had an individual photoshoot for 4 different fashion magazines. And mind you, the magazines I'm telling you about are the four major magazines in K-O-R-E-A eh eh eh eh eh. Lol. Haha.

Bom shot for Allure with a Spring theme; Minzy for Marie Claire showing off her sexy side now that she's 20 and CL for Bazaar sporting her edgy fashion sense. And of course, our dear Dara posed for the best one among the four, the world's largest fashion magazine, none other than, ELLE.

The four girls made yet another history in Korea as they are the first group to individually cover for four different bigtime magazines simultaneously. Their covers are set to be released in March.

 

Now, going back to the gorgeousness that is of Sandara Park.

I've always dreamt of seeing her in a photoshoot where she sports a normal look and ELLE just made it come true. Goddess Dee is looking oh-so-perfect in her photo! I can't wait to see her other photos. I'm sure she looks even more gorgeous in those. (Dara Unnie, stop being a tease and post a BTS photo already!) And I remember her Starcall last Lunar New Year. She  was wearing a white dress and her hair was curled to perfection. I'm betting that was for ELLE! When I first saw the video, I thought maybe she was shooting another ad for Clio. But then YG gave us this news earlier that made the netizen world spazz like mad men.

I wanna give the ELLE staff a pat in the back for an incredibly job well done! Years of waiting for the unleashing of Inner Goddess Within Dara has finally ended! Hooray!

And thank you for dressing her in pretty immaculate white clothes! Gosh! Dara should have all the white dresses in the world because she fits those types of clothes like its invented for her alone. I wish I could always see her like this. Looking gorgeous while sporting a normal hair, wearing simple clothes and having less make up. This way, her beauty shines even more.
