All-time Favorite Photos of Sandara (Photoshoot Edition)

Not long ago, Koreaboo provided us their own list of Sandara Park's stunning photos and this blog post is obviously inspired by that. A lot of us disagreed with their choices so here I am posting my own version of that list. As a devoted daraling, I know Koreaboo failed to show what I think are earth-shatteringly gorgeous photos of Sandara Park. None of my favorites even made their list. So to appease my disappointed heart (hopefully yours too!) here goes my absolute favorite photos of Sandara Park.

1. "Classic Beauty"

I'll go ahead and assume that most of us will choose this as a top favorite. When this photo was revealed, it's safe to say that many were left dumbfounded--including me. Seeing this photo for the first time is a mixture of awe and disbelief. As 2NE1's fashion risk taker, we never thought we'll see Dara styled like this: so simple yet so elegant. This photo drips of innocence. She exudes an ethereal and refreshing aura. In fact, she resembles women from the 60s who wear their hair big but go for nude tones for their lips and make up. A classic look for a classic beauty. After a year since its release, I find myself still captivated by the magic this photo brings.

 2. "Enchanting Fairy"

Nothing screams "Goddess" more than this photo. The bold contrasts of the pink flowers, fantasy make up and glowing skin worked well on Sandara. She looked absolutely breath taking. The childlike look in her eyes and the lushness of her lips further emphasize her lethal charm that she can be innocent and seductive at the same time. As if that's not enough to send us all crazy, there she goes flashing her sexy collarbones that rarely see the light of day. To say we're enchanted by this is an understatement, to be honest. We're more like, enraptured more than anything else.

3. "Bad-ass Goth"

"Jaw-dropping" "Astonishing" "Surreal" - Those are just some of the words that best describe this photo. It's the total package of bad-assery. Devil tattoos, a single brassiere for a top, Galliano underwear peaking from her Adidas trainers, some fancy looking blings and a trendy leather jacket with her face painted using dark make up, Sandara sure brings us to our knees as the unexpected styling from a rather shy girl worked its magic. She may be frail looking but she can definitely transform herself into anything she wishes and this time, she takes the word "cool" into another level and we're all here unable to move on from the majestic view.

4. "Sexy Beast"

If temptation was a person, this was how she would look like. Imagine her walking around town dressed in a seemingly Victoria's Secret fantasy bra with naughty horns on her head and a sexy black ensemble that looks like a gown. Tell me, wouldn't you stop and stare then possibly try to take her for yourself? Oh dear Sandara, you totally had us under your spell here. Make us your slave, we'll even thank you for it.

5. "Princess of Alaska"

What an elegant face, one that is fit to be a royalty, a Queen even. Sandara here shows off her high class, natural looks: snow white skin, face chiseled to perfection and a delicate, slender body. She even got the wolf tamed. Now you know, us mere humans, have no chance against the lethal seduction of Sandara. It's futile to resist.

6. "High Fashion Hobo"

The title above may sound unlikeable but the point here is that Sandara can make drab clothes look fabulous. And would you look at that graceful pose? If Sandara trips and falls to the ground, this is how she'll probably look like. Yep, only she can make tripping look like a photoshoot. I mean, the girl is gorgeous with or without make up so naturally, whatever she does, she'll be beautiful. Let's face it, we all want her face and if I were her, I'll probably use said face as a weapon for world domination. But as she is too kind, she just opted to share it to us via being a celebrity. I couldn't complain, that's a great choice albeit less evil.

7. "Tribal Queen"

I never thought face-tribal tattoos can ever look good on someone but here is Sandara, yet again, proving me wrong. The girl knows no limits, I tell you. Everything she does is beautiful (it's a line from a song, yes). And whoever said that when you're made to look like an African Tribe Warrior, you should automatically assume a fierce look on your face? Not Sandara, no. She definitely knows when to bring something new to the plate because here, she shows a soft, charismatic look that matches well with her outlandish get up. It's a contrasting concept but one that surprisingly works. It might as well be an effective strategy during war. Look innocent then strike with precision when the enemy is lured. She totally looks like she's plotting something evil here, though.

8. "Hot CEO"

Attention, everyone! Christian Grey apparently has a twin sister and she goes by the name of Sandara Park. She's filthy rich and has stunning good looks much like her brother. She's not into BDSM though. She just likes to collect unsuspecting fanboys at her wake. So far, she's managed to take over the KPOP world and is now plotting world domination in 2015. Watch out, this executive lady will show no mercy!

9. "Alluring Beauty"

Do I have to say more? This photo doesn't need much elaboration. It will just suck you to its vortex and leave you breathless. Those big, doll eyes, strong eyebrows and plump lips are a deadly combination. Make sure to strengthen your self esteem before viewing this photo. We don't want casualties now, do we?

10. "Sophisticated Snob"

I can make a story out of Dara's every single photo. Her modelling prowess shows in her pictures. In this one, I see her as a wealthy lady coming from old money. Money that dates back to the royalty of the Joseon Dynasty and she's the only direct descendant left. She lives in a huge manor surrounded by hundreds of loyal servants and quite possibly, a string of handsome and equally rich pursuers. One of them is Lee Minho. (Hey, I can dream).

11. "Feisty Brat"

Sandara here looks like she should be friends with Paris Hilton. They'd be hitting the posh clubs with her looking sexy and innocent in this outfit. She exudes an aura of a rich, spoiled lady who's adored by everyone even if she can be a bitch sometimes. Although in real life, she can probably get away with anything just the same, only better because she actually has a kind heart.

12. "Band Muse"

It's already established that Sandara Park can work any look and a death metal band vocalist is no exception. Look at her work those braids and accessories. If she were in a real band, it might suffer some internal conflict because the members all want her. She's just too beautiful not to fight over with, honestly. Then again, the band might continue for as long as they live as Sandara awakens poetic tendencies in people. She's amazing like that.

13. "Black Swan"

As much as we love Sandara in her bare face, heavy eye make up looks great on her as well. Although her make up in this photo isn't that quite "heavy" or "thick", it's still something different because she's known to favor light application most of the time. I like this look a lot because her thick eyeliner reminds me of Natalie Portman in Black Swan. Yeah, it's a far cry make up wise, but the aura is the same: fierce and captivating.

14. "Queen B"

B can only stand for one thing: Bird. You see all those beautiful feathers and you already think that Sandara looks like the Queen of all the flying species on the planet (at least those with feathers). It's just rightfully so for she looks absolutely stunning and vibrant. If she could fly, she'd make the sky look magnificent.

15. "Leggy Brunette"

Sandara is such a tease. Look at those legs she's shyly exposing. A little higher please? Or maybe not. We might not be able to take it. We'd all be swooning if she shows anymore skin. Anyway, she is very elegant in this photo. You won't even notice that she's actually chilling inside a storage warehouse for furniture or something. All the focus is just on her, and yeah, her slender legs.

So that has been my list. There are plenty more other photos I want to include but I'll cut it short at 15. These are only from her magazine photoshoots, by the way. I'll do a separate post for her 2NE1 concept photos, endorsements, red carpet looks, etc. Please look forward to it!
